Ascendle Calendar Vault™ is built around continuity.

Every player's Daily 5 history is preserved in full. Completed games remain attached to their dates, and partially completed games remain part of the record rather than being thrown away when a new day begins.

If a player leaves a dated run unfinished, that state belongs to the history of that date. The Vault gives them a route back to it.

Missed dates become unfinished history, not punishment

Because missing a date does not break the Player Streak, the calendar can do a different job: preserve the shape of a player's Ascendle history.

A date can be completed on the day, returned to later or left open until the player decides to fill the gap. That gives casual players freedom while also creating a substantial completion challenge for people who want one.

The Vault extends across a 100-year calendar, opening more than 36,500 dated Daily 5 journeys.

Completionists can build the calendar deliberately

For completionists, the interesting unit is not only the individual Daily 5. It is the month.

Players can work back through missing dates, resume partially completed games and gradually turn an incomplete month into a finished one. That gives the calendar a visible long-term structure rather than treating older games as disposable content.

Completion also feeds the wider reward system. New badges can recognise the milestones reached while the player fills out their history.

A completed month unlocks its Monthly Report

Once every date in a month has been completed, that month becomes eligible for its Monthly Report.

The report brings the completed month together as a performance period rather than a loose collection of daily results. It gives the player a higher-level view of how that month of Ascendle was played.

That is why full month completion matters. It closes the dataset for that period and turns a calendar achievement into something that can be reviewed.

The real value appears month-on-month

One Monthly Report is useful. A sequence of them is much more powerful.

As completed months accumulate, the reports build a month-on-month record. The player can see a longer performance history taking shape: not merely whether today's word was solved, but how complete five-level results develop over time.

That makes Calendar Vault more than a way to replay old games. It connects preservation, completion, badges and reporting into one long-term progression system.

The daily puzzle still belongs to its date. The player's history belongs to the player.
